Chinese Temple and River Market

Tuesday, August 06, 2013
Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei

A block or so behind the bus terminal we had passed by a small Chinese temple and river market. I walked back to check both of these out.

The temple was small with a lot of typical features of other temples.

One distinct feature was a wall of small painted hand tiles similar to a comic strip.

The neighbouring car park and condo building gave a distinct contrast of modern and traditional

Opposite was the river market. I wasn't sure if it would have shut down by noon or how busy it would be during the fasting hours in the day

It wasn't too big and had some fish and vegetables so nothing too exciting
