Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

London, England, United Kingdom
Every year for the past 25 years, the Royal Horticultural Society stages a massive flower show on the grounds of Hampton Court Palace. Since Hampton Court Palace is fairly close to us, just a 45 minute bus ride, we decided to attend this world famous flower show. It's billed as the largest flower show in the world spread out over 26 acres. The flower show itself is similar to the Home and Garden Shows we've attended in Phoenix where vendors from all over the country bring their wares and set up booths showcasing their offerings. There are also display flower gardens that compete for prizes, as well as every type of flower and plant you can grow in Great Britain offered for sale. The Rose Garden display was magnificent with a huge tent full of just roses and showcasing this year's winning rose, a gorgeous yellow rose that anyone would be proud to showcase in their own garden. I have to admit the whole show made me a bit nostalgic for my own garden. Cory is lucky I couldn't buy anything as I was so tempted by so many beautiful flowers and plants. We spent a lovely day walking amongst the flowers, viewing the displays and then going to a local pub for dinner. Enjoy our pics!
