Breakfast at the camp since we leave this morning--omlets, toast, fruit, etc.--so good!.
Lois got to feed Tulishia, the baby gazelle, a bottle. Surprised to see how much more water is in the Sand River after the rains in the area during the last few days.
Debbie, camp manager, and Moses, our guide, wanted copies of some of Randy's pictures. Had a good time "oo'ing and ah'ing" over what we saw on the game drives. (Funny being in this remote tent camp and everybody has flash drives for their computer.)

MINI GAME DRIVE to airport
Buffalo (huge herd in distance and a monster bull right next to road).

AIRPORT: Air Kenya was one hour late. Felt bad that Moses and Mrufa had to wait so long, but all the guides have a great time talking to one another. The airport is probably the only time they can socialize with their friends.
Moses went with Randy and bargained with the Masai people selling their crafts so we got authentic African goods. Moses even chose a bracelet with the colors and flag of Kenya.

MOSES, guide, MRUFA, spotter, both Maasai.
Being the only people in the truck for three days enabled us to really get to know Moses and Mrufa. We are so grateful to them for sharing their stories. Every day was like a Maasai culture seminar (see details on 25th entry).
Moses knew exactly how to position the truck for the best photo views of the animals.
Mrufa, which means tall in Masai, had the amazing ability to spot animals that were far away. We nicknamed him "Hawkeye" because he was always standing and found animals that we could not even see with our binoculars.
Every day we had Exciting Sightings and lots of Laughter--hard to beat this combination!
They are a gifted team and provided us with once-in-a-lifetime experiences that we will never forget!!! We are truly GRATEFUL
