We ducked around in small towns along the Freeway
Arrived in Byron, collected a cache and then headed for lunch at the Treehouse Bar, we both had Barramundi with chats and I had Green Pea Cream sauce and Linda didnt.
We had Brush Turkey's wandering around and a Kookaburra perched under the roof
Visited Tallows Beach
and also went up to the Byron Lighthouse
There is an interesting tale about the Rocks
According to a story from the Bundjalung people a jealous husband threw his spear at the canoe of his wife and her lover. The canoe broke in two and sank to the bottom of the ocean. Only the back and the front of the boat stuck out of the water, creating a rock formation just 2.5 km off shore.
