Since I was glued to the fascinating "Gardens by the Bay" until late last night I only got about 3 hours of sleep before I had to pack for the airport. Got there at 4:30 and checked in with Tiger Airways again. As we took off I was rewarded with a beautiful sunrise. Arrived in Phnom Penh at 8 and organized a bus to Siem Reap. Ending up with a bus company locals use rather than the fancier tourist buses I was the only westerner and curiosity in the vehicle ;)
The downside of it was that those buses stop frequently which resulted in an 8-hour trip to Siem Reap . Then I took a Tuk Tuk to my Holiday Garden Guesthouse run by an expat from Australia. After a nap I checked out the local bar scene and got a massage. Ahhh.... ;)

Weil ich mich gestern Nacht nicht vom "Garden by the Bay" losreissen konnte, hatte ich nur etwa 3 Stunden Schlaf bevor ich meine sieben Sachen packte und zum Flughafen fuhr. Um 4:30 checkte ich bei Tiger Airways ein. Als wir abhoben wurde ich mit einem traumhaften Sonnenaufgang belohnt. Kam in Phnom Penh um 8 an und organisierte gleich meine Weiterreise per Bus nach Siem Reap. Da ich ein Busunternehmen waehlte was eher von Einheimischen benutzt wird, war ich der einzige Westliche und die Kuriositaet an Bord ;)
Die Kehrseite davon ist eine 8 Stunden Fahrt weil der Bus praktisch ueberall haelt. In Siem Reap nahm ich ein Tuk Tuk zum Holiday Garden Guesthouse, welches einem Australier gehoert. Nach einem Schlaefchen erkundete ich die lokale Barszene und goennte mir eine Massage. Ahhh... ;)
