Left Paphos the other day to head down to Limassol, a largish city further on down the coast. Turned off the main highway to do a side trip up to Mt Olympus, highest mountain on Cyprus. Spectacular drive up. Not so spectacular at the top. The Swiss Alps have nothing to fear from Mt Olympus.One interesting thing we learnt, it is a popular ski area. Saw a couple of snow plows parked up in readiness. Couldn't see any evidence of ski runs (apart from the sign at the top). Still, it made for a nice drive.

On to Limassol, second largest city on Cyprus (and much bigger than Paphos). Stayed there for a couple of days. Nothing remarkable about it. A nice harbour area, interesting back streets. Spent a couple of days here doing not very much. Just kicked back and relaxed.
