Dining anywhere at the Resort is a feast!

Below I have the Review I posted on TripAdvisor commenting on the Le Vieux Restaurant that I happened to dine both the nights of my stay .

I have to admit that the first night I passed by the Le Fleuri Restaurant where buffet was served only to check if there was something that I would really like to have. The presentation was great but I still wanted to have the a la carte menu.

The dish that really attracted me here were the fresh green and white boiled asparagus that were so nicely presented at the buffet. I can never resist fresh asparagus so I arranged that I would be brought a few to the Le Vieux Village Restaurant. The next evening the waiter seeing me passing next to the restaurant taking some photos he calls me and smiling tells me that in a while he will have my asparagus dish taken to the other restaurant. I thank him and I continue taking some photos of the pool area. By the time I come to eat, the asparagus were already on my table! If this is not a special service and efficiency, then what!!

Here are my comments:

I just returned from a two week trip in Cyprus, and the first hotel I visited was the Le Meridien in Limassol . I dined both nights at the Le Vieux Village restaurant which I highly recommend. It is a rustic open air restaurant where one can experience the true culture of Cyprus and enjoy traditional specialities and grilled dishes.

I was treated by all members of the restaurant as a friend, as if they knew me for years and Sotiris who is the manager of the Taverna team recommended my meals. The first night I had grilled prawns and fish and I was amazed with the presentation. Sotiroula was always there with a smile, even a hug seeing me all by myself and with the team around I felt that I was not alone at all. George was also so gentle and would have a history for his recommendations for wine of choice so I let him bring whatever he thought would match with the meal.

The two nights I was there I felt so special with these dedicated people who are professionals. Both Sotiri and Sotiroula are working for years here and they surely know how to make their guests feel special . I would watch them go through all tables asking about the needs of their guests with a smile and always with a good word and positive spirit.

The second night I had the Cypriot "Kleftiko" and chops but I liked Kleftiko more.
George again would give recommendations for wine to match the meal. This time I had some red wine and I cannot find words to thank him for the great attention and sharing of information about the different wines that match with certain food and later on he would find the best wine to match with the dessert and fruit I had. The whole team would drop by and check on my needs every now and then to make me feel as if I had company the whole time.

I suggest that if you are staying at the Resort not to leave without dining even once here. The whole team knows exactly how to make you feel special and they will see that you have an unforgettable dinner.

I cannot find words to thank the manager of the restaurant, Sotiroula, Sue, Pavlos and George who were amazing and proved to be skilful and professionals!
I would grade them with an A+ ! The restaurant might have a French name indeed but here you can find Authentic Traditional dishes, Cypriot delicacies and authentic Cypriot hospitality.
