Back to Old Blighty

Weybridge, England, United Kingdom
Wow what a day just call it a travel one.
Up for breakfast at 8am, then back to clear room, settle account and off walking to the Central Station for the train to the airport.
Caught the 0920 train from Central to the Airport, lots of others with cases on the train as well.  They do have a great set up and something PERTH needs to look at.  It is a very efficient service and we arrived about 1000 at the airport.  As our flight was 1315 we decided to check the bags and then grab a hot chocolate and a muffin at Starbucks.  Stayed for a couple of hours then moved to our gate F25 only to find that the flight was now leaving at 1345 so another half hours wait.  They started to load us onto the bus to take us to our SAS flight which was located down at F49. We got out of the bus on the tarmac, proceeded to climb the stairs to load onto the plane.  What a way to board, seemed like the old days.  Still we made it and finally left around 1400 headed for London Heathrow.  We arrived around 1540 and then headed for the Avis pickup to take us to the Avis Rental Car to pickup our vehicle for the next 17 days.   Ended up with a Peugeot, spent the next fifteen minutes working out all the workings and remembering the indicators are on the left side.  Such fun, at least they drive on the correct side of the road here.
Plunged in and decided we needed to head south for the night, so took off on the M25 towards Weybridge.  We decided to stay at the BW Ship Inn at Weybridge and move on from there tomorrow.  Give us a chance to do dinner and a good nights sleep before we tackle our next adventure.
The Best Western Ship Hotel is located in the beautiful market town of Weybridge in Surrey. As a former coaching inn - dating back to the 17th Century - the hotel has retained much of its period charm, yet still boasts an elegant, up-to-date interior just off the A317 road, this relaxed hotel is 1 mile from Weybridge station (offering services to London 25.3 miles away) and 6.5 miles from Hampton Court Palace (the home of Henry VIII and his wives). The simple, polished rooms feature TVs, tea and coffeemaking facilities, and free WiFi.
Room was good, meal was great and a decent serve, so much so we couldn’t finish it all.  Now for a good nights sleep
