A Sunday drive to the Fishing Villages.

Low Shore, Scotland, United Kingdom
This morning we walked our own fishing village of Whitehills for more than 2hours, along the “low shore”,  thru narrow streets, we were invited into church, we found a game of football 21* and humid and breezy., we even wandered into a pub which wasn’t open! Said hello to upteen dog walkers. A real leisure Sunday. Sat at the marina and watched a yacht come in.
Returning to the cottage I made turkey burgers for our lunch while Kevin made the coffees, we scratched around for something to put lunch in and remembered 10miles down the road about the wicket picnic basket I brought all the way from NZ taking up half a bag of space! Turkey burgers, thick slices of turkey breast - I pan fried them. Food is so reasonable here, even doubling the price most of it still comes under our $.
1.15pm We drove the Aberdeenshire Coastal Trail to Fraserburgh. We were in no hurry, it was a Sunday drive and everyone else seemed to have the same attitude.
Banff, Macduff, Gardentown,  Crovie, Pennan (23*). Aberdour and we stopped for lunch at Rosehearty. It was so blustery, the wind would catch the car door, I struggled to hold the phone still to photograph. We went on into Fraserburgh, the fishing boats there are massive and almost appears to be hundreds of them. (Can’t be, but....)
Took the A98 back to Whitehills, huge grain area, round bales as far as one could see. Back here at 6pm, beautiful calm evening, like last night. It’s very sheltered here, and according to the car it was still 23* - we're beginning to wonder if it’s right, but it was my phone which said 21* this morning at the football.

Love the village. Wonderful accomodation. I suppose Fish will be on the menu while here in this beautiful fishing Village, Whitehills. How did they build that cute cottage. Between ? Two Rocks or hills. Amazing.
