This weekend the Doors Open Toronto weekend event was back after an absence of two years. Having gone to these over the years you run out of places to visit, although it takes multiple years to cover many of the venues.
In Liberty Village just west of downtown Toronto is the Zoomerplex which houses various TV and radio stations
As part of Doors Open Toronto they were allowing guided tours thru their TV and Radio studio facilities although these are not Radio or TV stations that I would listen to or watch.
Once the guided tour was over they took us to the adjacent Museum of Television
This was actually what I was interested in because of the collection of vintage television sets.
Some of these I remember from my childhood in the 70s/early 80s as you would still see these types of TVs either still in use, in storage, or in second hand shops
Despite only being one hall and a medium sized collection it is worthwhile for an enthusiast. I have even bought vintage radios on ebay for display in my home
