After breakfast today we walked to the post office to get stamps and mail our post cards back home. We also stopped at the Alpha Bank to get some euros to have in case we were somewhere our credit cards would not work (we are having that problem sometimes as Europe has changed to “chip” cards and the US banks have not done so yet). On the walk back to the hotel we stopped at the tourist office to let them know the Brewery tour was now cancelled so they wouldn’t send any more people there. In addition we wanted to acquire some information on things to do in Larnaca.

By the time we walked back to the hotel it was lunch time. So we stopped at the Cutty Sark Bar and Grill and had the Cypriot lunch again. This time it was white beans with some type of spinach like greens plus cucumbers, tomatoes and olives. Mike drank a Keo beer and I had a diet cola. It was so nice sitting out under the awning and chatting with a young couple who were visiting Cyprus from Great Britain.

Once back in the hotel we rested and then it was time for me to teach class. After class, Mike G., Emily, Mike and I walked to the Indian Restaurant for a change in the type of food we were having. The food was okay. I had fish korma and Mike had some type of chicken dish. He drank a glass of the house red wine and I had the house white plus we shared garlic naan and raita. Emily and I had kheer for dessert. We walked back to the hotel while Mike G. and Emily decided to go for a walk on the beach. Once in the room we chatted about what we plan to do tomorrow and I downloaded photos. Tomorrow will be another busy day.
