Geraldton, Western Australia, Australia In 2014 we weren't home for any of our three grandson's birthdays and as the 'October Girls' have featured in blogs, it is time to do one for the boys! Lani will have a special bit in another blog which will become 'Blog 150'!
I have decided to do two more blogs! The fact that they have been compiled since we arrived home, doesn't mean they are any less or anymore 'Special' than the others. It just means 'Our Three Travelling Oz Books' will contain 150 blogs and all our 'Special Grandies' will have featured somewhere in them!
Nathaniel's birthday was 3 days after we left, on New Year's Eve. A 'New Year's Eve' to see in 2014 was a day and evening we won't forget in a hurry! Spent at Eucla in stinking heat!
Nathaniel was 4 on the 31st December 2013 and we gave him his present on the 27th December and had birthday cake with him. He has had a year of Kindy and will be in Pre Primary next year. He gave his parents a 'bit of a run around' to start with at Kindy and was not keen about going at all. There were plenty of tears and in Tammy's words to us "he is just awful"! But after a couple of months he was fine. "Thank goodness" said Tammy! Here is a few of my favourite photos of grandson number 3.
Grandson No 1.....Jack was born on the 3rd March 2002 and Grandson No 2.....Denva was born 4 days later on the 7th March. Their Mum's were both in St John of God Hospital and we have photos of the two boys together in the twin baby cot. I have so many photos of the boys together. They have been such good mates and Jack has had a number of Yuna farm holidays and sleepovers at the cottage. It will be hard to choose a few photos of these two, because I have so many that I treasure!
What started out as Nanni emailing a blog or two, has now become three treasured printed books of 'Pete and Pam Travelling Oz'. Well when I get this last book printed, it will be three! The record of our travels would not be complete without some photos of the boys!

While we were away, the three of them settled into a new phase of their school life. Nathaniel starting his first year and Jack and Denva into their first year of secondary schooling. Denva completing his first year of boarding school. Well done boys! 36 photos
