Raining (pelting down) today so that put the kbosh on our plans to visit Galway big time.  Cathal seems a little tired today too as has done a lot of driving and it has been full on activity wise, so we just packed up and headed back to Dublin via a Marks & Spencers for shopping.  Saw Shamrock and sour cream flavoured crisps… say what?

Back in Dublin I left Cathal alone to get on with his stuff for the working week and went to my room and worked on the blog for several hours.  It’s probably good I will be staying at a hotel for the last 3 nights as it’s a bit isolated here so harder to go out for a bit to look around plus I don’t want to outstay my welcome etc.  Shugs has been so great though.  Very good host and he has given up a lot of his time which I really appreciate.

Off on my 2 day tour tomorrow morning.  Have a taxi booked for 7:20am and sorted out my suitcases to leave here and what to take etc.

We had a couple of laughs this evening and he seemed to have perked up a little after eating.  Reminding him he had a chocolate éclair in the fridge seemed to help!
