When I travel on my own I skip lunch but when Yianni is along he always wants to have a snack at noon.
The Nautical Club of Nea Makri is only 200 metres from where we stay so we thought to come here for a glass of beer
.
This area is called "mati" and there are lots of inlets one next to the other as you have seen on my pictures on a previous entry. We were swimming the whole morning of course but still when I get here I regret that I did not carry along my bathing suit. You see, earlier we had been up to the room and changed before coming to the Club.
Now what you get here is something like a self service bar. You give the order and when what you ordered is ready the lady calls you to get the tray. I loved the meatballs that we had.
The area where we stay is called “mati”. There is one cove on the right side and another at the other end.
Now, people coming here should know that there is nothing much to see around unless they have a car.
