Chalkida, is the Capital City of the island of Evia and is only 70 Kms from Athens .
It is a favourite Cosmopolitan City regarded as a relaxing "get-away" destination the year round -a City that has many famous archaeological sites and a particular charm and nobility.
On this specific entry however, I don't intend to expand.
You will mostly see photos that I have taken on the way while passing by at its outskirts.
I plan however to spend a few days in Chalkida again this summer so there will definitely be another entry coming soon where I am going to refer to the legendary Tidal Phenomenon and places of interest, the hospitable and cultured inhabitants who are well-accustomed to tourism and have distinguished themselves for the quality of services rendered.
