Land of the Midnight Sun

Bristol Bay Area, Alaska, United States
I am working at a lodge in Alaska for the summer. Internet is not something I have access to frequently and photos may be an even bigger challenge. That's all for now....

Finally, a quick update . I am working at The Royal Coachman Lodge, 65 air miles north of Dillingham Alaska, which basically puts me right in the middle of nowhere in the Wood-Tikchik State Park... America's largest.  The location is a fly-in, fly-out only camp using float planes older than I am that land and take off right out front on the Nuyakuk River. There is really no other way to get here efficiently (or leave!)   I was able to post some photos I've taken since I arrived and over the last few weeks.... check them out.

The Royal Coachman wbsight has some cool pix in their photo gallery and more info on Alaska if you want to have a look... here.

Different, very different indeed...
Hi Jeff, great shots. You have always been a good photographer! Must be a different experience, how are things when you are not working? I guess that is not a problem, since you are working from 7-21 :-) Hoping to have you over to Europe soonish...

Cheers, Yngve
