At the new school I had heard there was "a bed" that teachers could use. I've walked around the whole school and never saw anywhere with a bed. They said there was one for the women and one for the men. Curious, I asked where was this men teachers room?



After lunch I asked one of the teachers to show me where this room was. She walked me over from the cafeteria on the ground floor to a room near the admin offices I hadnt noticed before. I was quite surprised by what I found.

There is a large room with a comfy chair and exercise equipment. The equipment looked quite good with a treadmill and exercise bike. To one side is a shower and changing room. 



Then we went to the door at the end. This lead to a "bedroom" with a bed all made up and a teacher sleeping inside. Next to it was another reclining chair as an additional bed. 

I thought it would be nice to have a bed for times I got back late at night and hadnt slept properly or when I was feeling sick. When I went again somebody was sleeping in their again. I guess you have to give up using that bed as you'll never get your hands on it!


















I also checked out the shower and treadmill. The shower is cold water only, which is what I figured so no point in using it. The treadmill works fine and has the incline feature which was always disabled at gyms.

















I'd been looking for gyms in my area. Theres only one expensively priced at $100/month with poor equipment so looks like I found a free gym membership. The room is often padlocked so I have to figure out how to get in. 

This will be great to work out at after school or during colder weather when I cant go biking. Also during the long periods of "deskwarming" when we have no classes but still have to come to school everyday during winter break. 

There's also a female teachers room somewhere that along with a double bed includes a massage chair!



This also makes me upset about the housing situation again, when they insisted there was "nowhere to put the fridge and washing machine" and that I had to take theirs causing me problems with landlords. There is plenty of empty space in the school where they could have done so.
