A For Athens Rooftop Cafe

Athens, Greece
For my final night in Athens I wanted to goto the rooftop cafe A for Athens which had the best panorama view of Monastiraki and the Acropolis. This is actually a hotel with a public cafe and roof terrace on top.
Everyone wants to come for the view and its always full. I'd come a few days earlier to ask when the best time was and they said there wasnt as its always full and gets worse early evening when the heat cools down.
I'd tried the adjacent Cafe 360 two days earlier which is at an angle and doesnt have as great a view. That night I was caught in the evening storm making me sick.
Today we made it back from my day trip to Mycenae/Epidoura just before nightfall and I was able to get here before dark.
They wont give me a table as I'm just one person but I got a stool near the front on the upper terrace. As my birthday was two days away I ordered some pancakes for 8 Eu ($12) and juice 6 Eu ($9).
I was getting great shots as the sun went down but it was getting very cold and windy. It was back to my hotel to repack, redo my online check in to the get the best window seat in the back, and prepare for my next week in Cyprus.
