It has been our home for 12 nights and we have had a great time here. We made new friends, watched superb stage shows and ate like kings. Our phone wake up system fails for reasons unknown but the ship changes speed as it enters the Amstel River locks of Holland. It is 4:30 am as the ship winds its way thru the Dutch country side to the ship terminal in Amsterdam. We are second off the ship catch a taxi to Schiphol where all the flights to Heathrow are full. On the advise of the BA staff we take a BA commuter to London City and cab it across to Heathrow. London streets are both very busy plus it seems there is lots of construction which slows traffic more. Our flight to Calgary is also full but we pick up an alternate flight on the A330 to Montreal. T3 at Heathrow is a pack zoo of humans and we are glad to be on our way.
