We are on our way - the cool weather has crossed the Gulf and as the Florida oranges freeze, we depart Santa Clara. The evening temperature has dropped to 11C. The food at the resort was so-so. Some days are excellent, some days one had to be creative to make a good dinner. The bread, rum and lobster here are simply excellent. Their grill lacked imagination and flavor. We had a good time and have lots of great memories. We land after a 6.5 hour flight and it is -28C . Our truck is in an open lot and after getting the weeks parking paid; we are able to drop off some of our party and then settle in to take in the rest of the winter.
