G'day all,
Well the big day has arrived with everything in order bags packed, Nancy's cousin Anna and her Hubby Alex have arrived to look after cadbury the cat . We were up at some ungodly hour at 4am,as usual Nancy was already packed an ready to go by 4.35am. We arrived at the airport parking where the bomb will be given a wash an clean while we are away, it was just as costly as a taxi but at least we did not have to wait for a taxi either way.

The check in was crowded but as we were early there was no panic bags checked in and at the cafe for a quick coffee before boarding the plane, when we arrived at the gate there were the usual crowd of business men and women waiting to catch the local bus (plane) as the flight to Sydney was just on an hour  it is like a bus ride but a little higher off the ground.

My Brother Ian met us at the airport and helped us find the bag claim the again showed us the shuttle pick up point if it was not for him we would still be wandering around that airport, the shuttle ride was good he took us through the city to our Hotel which was supposedly 5 minutes from the train station .

The hotel check in was good no room ready so left bags an went for a walk and had breakfast I ordered bacon and eggs and some Fried Haloumi Cheese wow what a taste sensation It is very salty but if u like your Vegemite like i do then u will love this it is very Moorish I have to thank My friend Popi for telling me about it and then went for a walk to the station to find where we go to get into the train, every one said use the tunnel and it will take you there, so we looked and looked and could not see a tunnel, even Cedric tried but not even his tunnel sensing skills could help so we decided the walk up the road was OK.

Back at the Hotel the room was ready and we went up got sorted and then decided to go for a walk around Darling Harbour, this is a fantastic place was great to look at, we came back to the hotel an had a bit if a relax before meeting my sister and her family and waited for my brother and his girlfriend to show up we then went down to china town an had a lovely meal, then afterwards back to the hotel an bed
