Here in PP. Made the big sacrifice and left Sharon in KL her heading back home for sister Linda and me to come here for the SE Asia Sub Regional CHE Consultation which will have people here from Cambodia, Viet Nam,Singapore and maybe elsewhere in this sub-region.

Will be presenting Caring for the elderly, Disaster Planning and Working with Corrupt Governments . Now why they should pick topics like that for me...are they trying to tell me something here?!!

PP has improved tremendously over the years since we have been coming here in the city specifically but poverty is still very evident and the rural areas are still struggling. Still amazing number of NGOs white faces floating around here.

The National partners like CGA (Global Action Group) and TWR (Trans World Radio) are very active here in Cambodia. Will hear more from other groups like Samaritans Purse Viet Nam during the conference. Will give you some of those stories later.

Meanwhile I have been preparing for these presentations and meeting with key people here.

We have discovered a reasonably priced hotel here we Sharon and I like picture of room and breakfast below. Not as nice without Sharon but good place to do preparations and meet people.

Sunday today. Big demonstrations planned by the government opposition protesting the recent election fraud and corruption of the current government here. So I guess the topic of "working with corrupt governments" is germane here.
