A Troas Impression

Dalyan, Turkish Aegean Coast, Turkey
The ancient city of Troas, also called the Troad and land of Troy, remains mostly unexcavated and covered in trees and shrubs. The ruins that have been uncovered are unmarked, therefore hard to identify. Nazim did not take us to any of the ruins because the terrain was too difficult for our group to navigate through and, quite frankly, because there was not likely much to see.

We visited the harbor area of ancient Troas near the village of Dalyan and a handful of us elected to make a quick jaunt down a path to a small body of water where we could get a view of the Aegean Cost .
