Off to Austria

Ossiach, Carinthia, Austria
It was definitely time to move south in search of some sun, so after an easy trip of only 154 miles, the sun welcomed us - we’re now in Austria, down in the south close to the Slovenian border on a lovely site called Camping Kalkgruber.
It has only 30 pitches, beautiful facilities, nice owners, & the most friendly folk around we’ve ever come across - we hadn’t been here 10 mins before 2 people went out of their way to come over & say hello, & anyone passing stopped for a chat. Its nice to be the token Brit as everyone wants to practise their English!
The only downside according to R is that the hill behind us completely blocks his satellite signal - the hill is much higher than it looks on the pic   Looks like we’ll have to watch the royal wedding on Austrian TV. We’re on the shores of the Ossiachersee, and we can just see a tiny sliver of the lake from our doorway. There are bike paths everywhere so we’re hoping to make use of those while we’re here.
