Brother Andrew joins us in Skye. He brings Beverley sunshine but not the temperature - it is still very cold here!

Andrew meets Sam and Jane and we have a wonderful meal together . So much pleasure and enjoyment! The Akubra hat, Australian books and WA stone jewellery are a hit! Good choice Andrew!

Fishing is high on the agenda. This is serious business! The locals inform us that it is far, far too early - there is not even bait to be bought in Glendale, Dunvegan or Portree! We are inventive - chicken should do it coupled with fancy lures!

Over the week Andrew and Digby try Loch Pooltiel and Neist Point. And finally we all try our luck at Loch Pooltiel again - zilch!

We are not giving up! On Sunday afternoon we discuss our next strategy at Edinbane Inn while enjoying Skye beer and toe-tapping to the joyous sounds of Gaelic instruments being played by a group of six!
