AVENIDA GRANDES PLAYAS BEACH

There is a bus that comes daily to the hotel at 10 .am and carries people to this beautiful beach for free.

The bus comes again and picks you up from the spot it left you.

A beautiful beach indeed, however coming from the Mediterranean, I felt the water a bit cold at first. I had a long walk throughout the whole beach, and tried to figure out why most people were just walking instead of swimming.

(This until 11.30) The waters are cold and in these open seas there is current. It can be quite dangerous so people just swim very near the coast.

Of course the sand is unbeatable, and I enjoyed it a lot, but never stopped thinking that in Cyprus we have the same quality of beaches, plus that they are safe for all. No sharks, no tide.

Similar beach but much smaller is in Protaras, and Agia Napa in Cyprus.
