MERCADO DE SAN MIGUEL

Just outside Plazza de Mayor I came across this beautiful Market .
I bought some fruit which were very cheap here, and asked for tappas to see and check on the price.

Tapas is something that we Greeks have called Meze. There are different small (snacks) very attractive in the eye, but you have to pay for each piece you have.
Usually there is a variety of these, and you start with the first, go to the second and third, and then you get excited, and you can end up paying more than 30 euros for this meal, even more depending on how much you want to eat.
But everything is so beautifully arranged that you want to taste them all......and then you are surprised why you paid so much.

I did not want to get such a surprise, - I just had a look - took photos and left.
Besides I have had so many trips this summer, but also the rest of the year, and there are more coming soon, so I thought I can avoid this.
