Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark
Copenhagen, Tuesday, June 3rd. 2014 After a restful night at the local "Crown Plaza" hotel, we woke up to a cloudy day. Since we were going on our next adventure, we were exited and in our minds it was a sunny day. By Taxi, Taxa(Danish), we were driven to the pier and on the way we took in the sights. You think Switzerland is expensive. Well think again! We thought that our math was failing us, but it was all real and we had a rude awakening. Somethings were twice or more the cost of Swiss items. Although we are still enjoying this trip very much and go by the motto: “You can't take it with you!”

The Royal Princess is living up to its name. It’s the most beautiful ship we have been on. The food and entertainment is at its best. Again we are on the 10th  floor, and the cabin is very light and spacy with a balcony. Being on the 10 floor means also we can climb plenty of stairs in order to avoid the crowded elevators. People are everywhere and it does not surprise us since 3500 plus Passengers (plus 1,750 workers) from all over the world, mostly Asians, have boarded the ship. Our very first meal we had with another couple and guess where they were from? As Jim says: “We can’t avoid those Swiss. “Yes, it is a couple from Zurich, The Gimmi's. It seems that we are always running into them in the dining room. They are our age, have a good sense of humor and we have a lot of laughs.
