Málaga, Spain, Spain and Canary Islands
We travel all night and have a sea day on the way back to the Mediterranean. By good chance we awake from a deep sleep as the ship passes Gibraltar. Our room looks south as the lights of the city of Tangiers passes in the night. A sea day Thur allowed us to arrive in Malaga Spain before dawn. Malaga is 1n the province of Andalusia. It is well developed and a very picturesque and comes with much history, great accommodations and attractions. We travelled to Marbelle, a seaside village with narrow streets, hundreds of shops, restaurants and squares all decorated for Christmas. We continued to Puerto Banus, a very upscale port village with yachts worth millions and trendy apartments and trendy shops such as Cartier, Rolex, Bvlgari and the like. We travelled back to the ship and learned of the Arabic influences, the Berbers and the moors. We enjoy the afternoon in Malaga - much to spend and to do and not enough of either
