Agadir, Morocco
Last night, our ship was in 12 foot swells last night. In addition, we had a gale force window 40 kts across the deck. Despite the rough seas, we slept thru most of it. We arrived in Agadir, a resort coastal city south of Casablanca.

Our trip to the Oasis outside of Touradant was cancelled due to the recent rains .   Instead our day was spent in the Saadian Walled city which included a Souk, a Medina and much history. The village is over 1000 years old - older than Marrakesh. A pretty good day and bargaining with the Moroccans was fun. The beach and surf at Agadir looked inviting. The outlook over the port offered an excellent view of the whole city. Here the locals offered camel rides, jewellery, paintings and all those things tourist buy.   We left Agadir Morocco with a fast sail for 650 km south and west to Las Palmas.
