Exploring Brussels

Brussels, Brussels, Belgium
Camping 3CB BrusselsAnother big day on walking, 3km each way to the train station then a good old tramp around Brussels. Normally Capital/Large cities are not our favourite places but Brussels was definitely an exception.
The list of places to visit is not short and if you actually wanted to go in all the museums you’d need at least a week.  The Cathedral was definitely in our top 10 of Cathedrals in Europe and the GroeteMarkt is probably number 1 and we’ve seen some stunning squares. Overall our mooch around the city was very relaxing, we didn’t encounter any dodgy areas but we did come across some beauties, a lot of the buildings/parks weren’t even on our map.
Typically today was really hot even though it wasn’t supposed to be, so back at camp it was definitely first stop showers (thank goodness the warm water was fixed, there was none this morning!!).
We thought we’d better have a quiet day today, do some cleaning, washing and stock up ready to move on to Spa tomorrow. Even better the weather was glorious so we got to sit out in the sun for a couple of hours, the first time for months.
