An Unexpected Severe weather -A day to remember!

Latchi, CyprusThe 3rd day of my stay in Latch I went to the beach an hour after breakfast .
I am so crazy with swimming but I get crazier when I am in these amazing waters.
Last year I was here twice.
Imagine that this time I carried my flippers along all the way from Greece to Cyprus only to get the most out of the stay here and spend endless hours in the water.
Friends who know me well, do know that I normally swim the least 3 to 4 hours sometimes more, without getting out of the water not for a second.
This day however I noticed some storm clouds looming on the horizon approaching little by little but the water was cool and nice and I thought to get out only with the first drops of rain.
Half an hour later, the weather changed So Suddenly and became Severe. Thunder and lightning was in a sequence of every 2 minutes and lasted like this till the storm was over.
I managed to get to the room minutes before the rain started and for more than 2 hours there was a severe thunder and hail storm. For the first time that I can remember I loved the idea that I was right out there watching all this happening without being scared, but at the same time being aware of the consequences -accidents, damage of fruit and flooding.
I returned to the beach of course later on in the afternoon again.
Indeed, a day to remember!
