Another trip to Cyprus:

I was supposed to meet a British couple out in Latchi, close to Polis and Paphos, members and friends from VT and in fact for several weeks we had been planning things to do together and places we were to visit . Two weeks before the flight something unexpectedly came up which compelled them to cancel their hotel stay and the whole trip. 
 
I am on my way to Cyprus once again in almost less than a month and I will try to make the most out of it.
 

Flying by Aegean Airlines the 9th of May, my flight takes off at 10:45 arrival time 12:25.



LEFKARA: 
 
I am supposed to spend the first two days (weekend) with Mum at home, but my sister has a better idea so we drive off to Lefkara the two of us to our little humble cottage out there for the first night.

We take along a bottle of wine and my sister caters for a quick meal when there.

We dine outside by the patio overlooking the fields and later on the stars. When it got chilly we move indoors and the chat goes on for hours till 13.30. An unforgettable night, recalling memories of the past when kids, students, teens and then older.

What a night! Peals of laughter every other minute. We promised to repeat it soon when I get to Cyprus again.

I love waking up to the sounds of birds singing outside and this is how we woke up that first morning. Regretfully we missed the beautiful sunrise because the sun was already high up in the sky by the time we rose up from bed.

Breakfast out in the patio at first and then watching my sister taking care of the flowers of our little garden for a while and before noon we drive back to Larnaca to have lunch at home with Mum.
