ADONIS (Circular) Natural Trail

The trail throughout offers beautiful views of Polis Chrysochous, the Paphos Forest and the Akamas peninsula

After the Tai Chi session and the long break we had, we are ready to set off, this time following the Aphrodite Path.

We walk steadily onwards and around the mountain, while at several spots the ground is slippery and the path gets quite narrow.

We go on and on, the doggie follows and I can't stop taking pictures throughout the way until we reach the Baths of Aphrodite.

We cover the Circular Trail in 6 instead of 4 hours only because there was no need to hurry back to the hotel earlier.

We do make a stop at the Baths of Aphrodite for photos and cool off with some beer from the only restaurant out there.

The group splits here, some are out searching for the doggie supposing that it is the owner's pet that seems to have disappeared, others leave for the hotel but a couple of us remain at the restaurant a while more.

To the Beach for Swimming:

With almost 2 hours before dinner to spare, I rush to the room, change and get down to the beach thinking that I haven’t carried my flippers all the way from Greece only to take them back. A couple of ladies from the group join me much later.

The sparkling water is cool, motionless and simply irresistible. How I wished I had more time!

Back to the room after dinner and every single piece of clothing is washed.

A Full and Great day indeed!

There are certainly some really nice views and scenery, maybe the walk up here was worth it

Dogs usually prefer drinking from a puddle than fresh water, beats me why, but they do
