Apart from a delayed flight out of Hervey Bay, (due to "late arrival of aircraft, loading issues & airport congestion in Brisbane" dam near a full-house of excuses) which almost resulted in us missing our international connection, the trip went very well
. A380 double-decker Airbus on both legs, Brisbane - Dubai - Zurich.
Took us about an hour in a quiet corner of Zurich Airport to unpack and assemble the bikes, load up, change into our cycle gear and head out. After a couple of "temporarily misplaced" and "excuse me could you tell me the way to ..." moments we made it to our motel, which is about 3km from the city and 12km from the airport. The next few days will be spent here getting rid of the jet-lag, seeing the sights and doing a few local rides. The real tour starts Sunday when we head out of here.
