One year on, its time to hit the road again. This time, I'm taking off in a different direction. Its going to be longer and a little more challenging, but with luck, I should do well.
I was in these parts 25 years ago ! It was a special trip , as it was my first ever solo trip as a tourist
. I didn't have a ride in those days and so it was a bussing, hitchhiking, walking, flying, ferrying, "banning" (watch out for this unique mode of travel), etc etc type of journey.
This time I have a new companion , all in brilliant blue. Much preparation has been made and its time to move.
I am hoping to blog regularly, internet connectivity permitting. Where I am going, this will be one of the challenges, but let's see.
Although its a solo trip, I won't be "alone", for I hope to have you, dear readers, as co travelers in spirit. Grateful for your joining me on this trip.
At the crack of dawn tomorrow, I'll be off.

Your new companion looks good. Have you named the car? Might help when you are driving along, for a chat you know. "Hey Mallika, you think you want to take a right here so that we can check out that rasgolla place?" hehehe ..
