Another Lighthouse and a Walk on the Beach

Oscoda Township, Michigan, United States
Today, we arrived at the Oscoda/Tawas KOA just outside Oscoda, MI.  The park is literally at the end of the road and sits in and among the trees right next to, you guessed it, train tracks.  Interesting point is that the train only runs twice a day - once around 10 and once around midnight.  At least it is moving slow and is not as noisy as most.  Fortunately, they have cable satellite so we get some TV, but it is analog so it is not a great picture - my how we have gotten spoiled with HD.
Wednesday, we drove back south to Tawas City to check out the Tawas Point Lighthouse and took a walk to the end of the point.
We then drove back to the campground, picked up Molly, and drove into Oscoda and took a walk along the Oscoda Beach and pier.  The weather was nice, a little on the cool side, but there were lots of folks in the water and taking in some rays on the beach.
