As part of the Active TO program where Lakeshore Blvd has been closed every weekend from May-Sept, Yonge St in downtown Toronto was also closed for the last two Sunday's in September.
Yonge St is a north-south street, the east-west divider of the city, the worlds longest street, and the first subway line in Toronto. It was closed from Lakeshore Blvd to Dundas Square
