A highlight of this journey will be the rounding of the Cape at 0730. The island around the cape are impressive, some covered in green moss but all are treeless. A monument to the hundreds of sailors and ships that have failed to make this passage can bee seen from the ship. At 11:30 a large party ensues which includes a Cape Baptism. With our friends, we e enjoy a bottle of Champagne in the observation lounge.
