1924 Freshwater Swim

Snell Hill, Saint Patrick, Grenada
2 hrs, 2 kms

From Sauteurs, I head inland again, up a road that meanders up the mountains . Unlike on the coast hikes, there aren't a lot of spots for parkbenching. Finally I spot a shady place down a steep slope by a stream that should work. Afterwards I figure this would be a good spot for my daily swim, to take a break from the salty, rough sea water. I go upstream a little bit a large pool under a mini-waterfall, where you can immerse yourself under the refreshingly cool water tumbling down.

Perhaps not as cool as Concord falls--but this one I discovered myself, making it special in its own way.
