Little Qualicum Falls – Sept 9-10, 2013
Always a great spot is the Little Qualicum Falls PP… and so we come again to enjoy this great spot in fall – so far we always came in June….

 
 Relaxing at the River
We got a cool campsite – close to the river… and so we spent a lot of time bringing our chairs down to river – sitting enjoying the sun, reading our books and enjoying the peace and quiet. And if we are quite in bed and have the window open we can even hear the River.

 
 Nature's colors
Already we see the wonderful fall colors… I am always amazed at the nice maple leave colors…. And then in combination with the red peeling skin of the Arbutus trees it is truly amazing.

 
 A Walk along the fall and the River
And like all the times when we come here, at least once we have to do the whole walk from the upper falls – to the lower falls – so that we see the falls from all sites. And as always there is that one spot I love the most at the bench across the falls

 
 We bike to the Cameron Lake for a Swim
This time we brought our bikes and decided to spend a day on the lake. So we bike the short way to the lake… and see there blue sky – nice warm water – it’s a perfect place to enjoy. We found our own little beach and discovered some funky little fish trying to hide in the sand at the bottom of the lake.

 
 Cooking over the Fire
And something else we like a lot is cooking over the fire: so we have sausages with potatoes cooked over the fire…. I think everything cooked this way tastes better.

Because what would Camping be without a fire – we are happy there is no fire ban at the moment.
