Ngamiland East, North West, Botswana
Slept at Old bridge Backpackers but the locals were out In full force for their Friday night binge at the beach bar. We tried to fall asleep but with the music that went on till past midnight it was challenging. We got up at seven and took a small English breakfast with a good piping hot pot of coffee and left with the dream team. We are fortunate enough to get Leabo, Rafiki and Obi for a three day mobile safari in the Kalahari after making the request with the management after our experience with them in Moremi.

After 6 and 1/2 hours we arrived at the Boga site in Deception Valley, unhooked the trailer and went for a short sunset game drive . We saw lots of new animal like the bat eared fox, oryx, ostrich, springbok, black backed jackals and many new bird species. Very different than in Chobe or Moremi, with hardly any water around, so we do not see elephants, hippos or Impalas. Got a nice sunset before heading back to camp for a spaghetti dinner with salad and dessert.

Went to bed to the sound of rowdy lions disputing their territory and woke up to the same familiar growls.
