Maun, North West, Botswana
After a relaxing evening catching up on news, Francois and I got up around 6:00 and I accompanied him for a 6:30 breakfast. Today he will be birdwatching, he has a pick up around 7:30-7:45 by a guide and will return by 11:00.

It is now 8:00AM, I am huddled in a blanket, facing the river while writing to you . The pied kingfishers are diving in the river for their morning catch. The girls are still sleeping soundly and that is probably the best place to be for warmth. It is bloody cold this morning, the winds have changed. In Phalaborwa. David at the Sunbird lodge told us that they would be getting a cold front so I guess it is what has hit us in Botswana.

We will be relaxing to give Lucia another day to recuperate after her long journey to meet us. Our plans for the morning, to attend a three hour basket weaving workshop. Should be fun!

Now I got lots of hugs and kisses from the folks back home via Lucia. Hugs back to all of you!
I also got to see pictures of the newly Weds. Paula your were beaming and the dress that Shirma made for you was really nice. Wow, she sure has talent! I am impressed!
Congrats to both you and Kenny from Botswana. Louise please pass on this message to Paula for me.

Today we spent several hours weaving a basket which is far from being complete. I had a wonderful time with TT and the girls.
