Phalaborwa, Limpopo, South Africa
Today June 2nd, marks the ninth year of my beloved father's passing. We came to Kruger for the first time in October 2005. I took pictures of several nice trees, thinking of him.
We drove from Shingwedzi to Olifants where we will spend one night because they did not have two nights available and our last night, on June 3 will be in Satara Camp
.
We had a great day of viewing wildlife but no big cats. Hippos chilling in a water hole next to the road, elephants with their young, a lone hyena dozing off under the shade of a fig tree. Zebras, Giraffes and so much more. I have a few videos but will put some on tomorrow's page.
