Sunrise at the Palm Beach Hotel

After the three wonderful nights I spent at the Palm Beach Hotel, I feel I am ready to return home

6:00 a.m the sunrise at the Palm Beach Hotel

. I am flying back this afternoon.

I woke up just the moment the sun was coming out and had time to get a few shots!

From the balcony on the 4th floor I see people walking at the beach and I descry a few people swimming as well. Without second thought I join them. Some of them are coming daily out here and I see familiar faces now as we greet good morning when we pass each other.

In Cyprus life is simpler. It is easy to make friends and people will greet you even if they don't know you.

I am not in a hurry to leave as my flight is for 6:00 p.m. There is plenty of time so I reach as far as the point where Dhekelia bases start. I am back for breakfast promptly allowing myself plenty of time to have a shower and pack my few things.

In the meantime I expect my sister to drop by and drive me home to see Mum and have lunch.

Another wonderful trip has come to an end. Once again on this trip I had the opportunity to meet interesting people and see so many beautiful things in the different places I visited. I believe those of you who are following my entries felt that you were with me.I promise that the coming trip will be just as interesting as this one. For another time I am proud to be a Cypriot and lucky to have so many good friends here.

The fact that I am flying back to Cyprus the 6th of June again is very comforting for me.

I am here now and I can’t wait to return!!!
