Limassol, CyprusThe meeting is over, and the night seems very promising at the hotel . Nico, the Executive Director suggests that I remain in the hotel premises and watch the fireworks taking place later on in the evening and the live band performing outside in the beautiful gardens.
Today's plan, -to visit Lefkara this afternoon, was arranged weeks ago while I was in Greece. Two days back a friend of mine told me about the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra performing live tonight very close to where I am. I preferred to watch the Orchestra rather than going to Lefkara. How could I miss such a brilliant opportunity! So, later on I expect my friends to pick me up from the hotel and take me to the music festival where we shall watch the live performance together.
In the meantime there is a cocktail welcome party at the hotel and by the time I finish with the meeting, people start gathering out in the beautiful gardens. We are served champagne, wine and different cocktails with snacks. It is a pleasant moment where I meet several interesting guests with whom I exchange ideas, and in return they get many tips from me on places in Cyprus not to be missed.
Several of them keep notes of the places I suggest as well as the names of different restaurants which I recommend. We even exchange our e mails and I give my phone number in case somebody needs further help.
