We finally got ourselves out of the covers by 8am, and on the road by 10am
. Only travelling 89 ks to Morven today (about halfway between Mitchell and Charleville) to stay for $10 a night with power and water and lovely facilities supplied by the Morven Council.
I gave the little top loader washing machine in the van a work out doing five loads of washing, not really that much as the machine is only a 2.5 litre one, but it did include the towels and sheets.
Later we walked into town, past the remains of the pub, to the only shop, which sold just about everything, then back to enjoy the lovely fire Rick got going. Pea and ham soup was good with some garlic toast, eaten by the fire.
