We have moved on to Quilpie for a couple of days. The country is getting drier and more desolate, though I'm told this is nothing like the desert we shall see further west.

The spot we are camped at is beside the Bulloo River, which isn't anywhere as lovely as the Ward River camp. The river isn't very wide and seems muddier and quite slow flowing. Rick is trying again for yabbies, as the people near us have caught a few.
