St Lawrence to Kinka Beach -
A phone call to Kinka beach's Island View Caravan Park, established that 2 spots were available for the night.

We also suggested a Follow the Sun Happy Hour, which owners, Robyn and Paul thought was a good idea .

So after a stop in Rockhampton to pick up beer & Wine, we headed to a Yeppoon supermarket for the cold drinks and a few snacks.

Another sausage sizzle was to be the order of the day, and Robyn kindly ordered the delicious, locally made sausages from the local butcher in Emu Park.

We set up camp, put up posters & signs, had a quick lunch then we drove up to Emu Park to get the sausages.

5pm saw the people rolling in, and with a lot of very welcome help from the Island View owners and staff we fed and watered about 80 people. Once again everyone appreciated the get together and Dometic's marketing initiative.

This is the most help, and input we have ever had from the Caravan Park management - many, many thanks go to Robyn, Paul and all at Island view, we can tell they are used to running successful sausage sizzles - they are renowned for them.

This was our 3rd visit to this lovely, very well run park, we will be back.
