Gladstone
A side trip to the Capricorn International resort, for the boys to check out the magnificent, 36 hole golf course, was followed by morning tea at the resort itself .

Roadworks virtually all the way to Gladstone made it a very slow trip, so our plans to visit our friends Dave & Jan for the afternoon, we're looking tight - Jan had the good Idea, that we could meet on the road for a cuppa - so we met at the Caltex at Benaraby - had a good chin wag before making our way a bit further south to a free camp for the night.

We met a delightful family from Newcastle, Leanne, Andrew, Jack, Austin and Geneveve, turned out they are traveling round Australia, working during the school terms in a fixed spot, so the kids can go to school, and moving on in the holidays. Coincidentally their next stop, for term 4, is Cleveland near Marg &Tony.
